Your first session will be an in depth nutrition assessment. We will explore your medical history, eating habits, weight history, symptoms and concerns, as well as your goals. We will then discuss what needs to happen to help you meet your goals and develop a plan to get you started.

50 minutes

During our follow up sessions, we'll take a look at your progress, adjust strategies to keep you moving forward, work through any obstacles, and help you get nearer to your goals. We'll help with meal planning and other valuable nutrition resources to support your journey as needed. Your sessions are always individualized to your unique needs.

Work with Us

Let's set up a quick 15-minute Discovery Call so we can chat about what we offer and get to know each other better. During this call, we hope to get an understanding of your needs, struggles and goals, fill you in on what to expect and answer any questions you may have. It's a chance for both of us to figure out if we're a good fit to support you.

  • I want to lose weight. Can you help me?
As weight-inclusive dietitians, we encourage clients to take the focus off weight so they can concentrate on other markers of progress and on healing their relationship with food.
  • What are your client intake criteria?
We recognize that clients are at different places in their recovery process and we work with you to develop a realistic individualized plan. For clients with eating disorders, we ask that you be: Medically stable enough for out-patient treatment Ideally receiving additional medical monitoring from a physician, and support from a mental health professional Self-referral or referral from a medical health professional is acceptable. A clinical diagnosis is not required.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, 24 hours notice is required. A credit card is required to hold appointments. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) are subject to a $50.00 fee. No-shows will be charged the full appointment fee.
  • Do you work with children/youth?
Yes. Our approach is based on the child's age, and is family-based therapy informed. We strongly encourage parent/caregiver involvement in your child’s eating disorder treatment. Depending on the age of your child, we may meet with parent(s) alone for a portion of the session and/or with your child alone for a portion of the session.

Emily was there for me on some of the hardest and loneliest days of my life. I've struggled with anorexia and body issues for as long as I can remember, without calling it by its name or giving it the care and attention it needed. When I reached out to Emily, I was adrift in the health and wellness scene, struggling to find a place where I felt my situation was represented or understood, where I would be heard, and where I could find someone to guide me through the maze of tools and emotions that I would need to understand to make substantial progress. In our time working together, Emily gifted me with those tools and showed me a different path forward. I know I wouldn't be where I am in my recovery journey today without her patience, her guidance and her acceptance to both meet me where I was and challenge me to imagine being somewhere new. Emily is a great listener, a trustworthy guide and a wonderful teacher. I will always be grateful for the time she dedicated to me.
